Our 48mm metal jar lid is a single-piece lid with continuous threads. Each lid contains a plastisol liner that helps keep an airtight seal when the lid is tightened onto the jar. 

The plastisol liner can be used for honey jars or for preserving hot fill foods. They can withstand temperatures up to 212°F when pasteurizing with heat.
